Product Description : "Greg Juice" has been one of our most popular products since its introduction more than two years ago - "Juices and Berries"is the same oil-free mixture of vegetable moisturizers and herbal essences; the same beautiful amber pump spray bottle. The change? The fragrance... Juices and Berries is fragranced with the juicest, fruitiest, brightest fruit scent we could find! Perfect for summer, or anytime you want to sweeten your day.
The therapeutic effects are the same as for Greg Juice- spring water, strongly infused with a variety of herbs known to help stimulate the scalp and encourage hair growth; vegetable ingredients for detangling, moisture and suppleness; vegetable glycerin for humectancy and shine; and an essential oil blend nutritious to the scalp.
This formula, like Greg Juice, is excellent for a daily pick-me-up on cornrows or twists. My sisters say it keeps their locs moisturized without weighing them down. And if I tried to detangle my hair without a bottle standing nearby, it would stand up and laugh at my comb. Many uses, this potion has. Cop an 8 oz bottle and find out for yourself. . .
Ingredients : Purified water infused with horsetail, lavender, nettle, roses, and chamomile; organic flaxseeds; aloe vera juice; vegetable glycerine; essences of lavender, sweet orange, ylang ylang, and rosemary; grapefruit seed extract; citric acid; fragrance; and love.
Cost : $11.00 for 8 oz. bottle @ CurlMart.com
My Thoughts : Love Love LOVE this stuff !!!! It moisturizes and gives a great sheen to my hair. I've used it to refresh my wash and go's, twists and my braids . The smell is INCREDIBLE it reminds me of skittles and star bursts, but it's not so strong that it'll give you a headache. Also I recently discovered that when I applied this under the Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol it gave it more slip and made it easier to work through my hair. This is a great product and I will be going back for a second order.

Soooo I've been getting a tons of messages on YouTube, from my AWESOME subbies, asking me when the heck am I gonna make a new video. Well to tell the truth I don't know when I'll record a new. Recording and editing videos is very time consuming. I have a crappy camera that only records up to 5 minutes, so I have to constantly stop, transfer to computer, erase from camera and record the next clip. That's a lot of work right!! Soooo in the meantime check out some these beautiful and informative YouTubers that I like to watch in my downtime. Enjoy :-)

My Thoughts : I really, really wanted to like this product. The description and the ingredients list had me so excited, I thought for sure this conditioner would give me tons of moisture and shine. It did neither. Previous to applying the deep conditioner I co-washed my hair and applied it generously in 4 sections. I left it in for about an hour covered with a plastic cap, then rinsed with cold water. My hair didn't feel any different than before....Sigh :-( The consistency is comparable to Suave Tropical Coconut conditioner ( which I am not a fan of). The smell is amazing but a fruity fragrance is not enough to make me a repeat buyer. I don't believe in wasting money so I'll just use what's leftover as a leave in or something.

SensationalColor.com says : Gray is the color of intellect, knowledge, and wisdom. It is perceived as long-lasting, classic, and often as sleek or refined. It is a color that is dignified, conservative, and carries authority. Gray is controlled and inconspicuous and is considered a color of compromise, perhaps because it sits between the extremes of black and white. Gray is a perfect neutral, which is why designers often use it as a background color.

Solange looking GORGEOUS in Japan this past weekend promoting for Samantha Thavasa's Disney Collection. I'm happy to see she finally wore her cut at a major event and didn't just hide it under a wig forever. The cut really shows off her features beautifully. Go Solange!! Samantha Thavasa is a Japanese fashion company, primarily famous for their popular handbags. In Japan, the company has over 130 retail stores. And in late 2006 they opened their first store in the U.S. in New York City.
Big sister Beyonce was there doing her promotional duties as well.
Okay enough about the hair, check out Solo's shoes....HOT!!!

Check out Miss Taylor in a new photo shoot for MOB's (Married to the Mob) fall 2009 "Smells Like Teen Spirit" collection. Teyana gave us a sneak peek at the pics via Twitter but, now their all over the net. I think the pics are HOT. Not to edgy yet, not to cutesy and overly sexy either. For more flicks of this fierce spread visit MOB's official site www.mttmnyc.com.
P.S. Whether her hair is fake or not, natural or not, I like the style. Just because I'm natural does not mean that I can't possibly think that someone who's hair is not natural is ugly. I'm 25 years old and I've only been natural for 2 years so how can I hate on what the next woman is doing when I used to do it too. Sharing my natural hair journey through Fotki, YouTube and Naturally Obsessed is meant to inspire not to bash those who are not natural.
So here's the message ...Judge yourself before you judge others.

This is the exact same one that I used in my blow drying video I did a few months ago. I love this dryer. It has 2 heat settings ( high and low), a cool shot feature and it comes with 3 attachments:
Detangling Comb (wide toothed)
Bristle Brush
Styling Comb (fine toothed)
Gets the job done quick and easy.

Good Hair
They say the clothes make the man
But good hair makes the woman
Or so it seems for the sistahs
Always comparing, contrasting and complaining
Does it line up with what's good?
Does it flow?
Does it hang?
Does it blow in the wind?
Is it straight? ( Oh Glory!)
Fine and loosely curly? (Good Enough)
Don't let it be bad!
Tight kinky curls
Thick wiry coils
Big poofy fro
In defiance of gravity
Girl, do something with that mess!
You're only as good as your hair
Or so it seems for the sistahs
The unblessed ones run for help
To tame the defiant fro
Burning chemicals
Damaging heat
Heavy grease
Anything to make it lay down
Flat and straight and good
Don't let it go back!
But then comes the side affects
Of superficial good hair
Thinning strands losing their fullness
Raggedy ends constantly breaking
Receding hairlines
Resorting to wigs
and weaves and extensions
No hair is better than bad hair
Or so it seems for the sistahs
Is this the way we want it?
No appreciation for natural beauty
Degrading what God gave us
Shackled to the lye
Bondage passed from one generation to another
Striving for the unnatural standard
Of straight, sleek and shiny
Good hair is sought at all costs
Or so it seems for the sistahs

Sensational Color.com -Brighter pinks are youthful, fun, and exciting, while vibrant pinks have the same high energy as red; they are sensual and passionate without being too aggressive. Toning down the passion of red with the purity of white results in the softer pinks that are associated with romance and the blush of a young woman's cheeks. It's not surprising that when giving or receiving flowers, pink blossoms are a favorite. Pink is the color of happiness and is sometimes seen as lighthearted. For women who are often overworked and overburdened, an attraction to pink may speak of a desire for the more carefree days of childhood.

If you suffer from dandruff, flaky, itchy or even oily scalp this scrub is said to remove all impurities. The brown sugar will exfoliate the scalp to wipe away dead skin cells that can cause buildup on the scalp. Some have suggested adding a few drops of grape seed or coconut oil to the mixture for added nourishment.
Ingredients :
4 Tablespoons of Brown Sugar
4 Tablespoons of your favorite conditioner
** Amounts may be tweaked depending on the thickness of your hair **
Directions :
Combine brown sugar and conditioner in a bowl and mix well. Apply to the scalp with your fingers. Begin to scrub your scalp in a circular motion for a few minutes. Rinse with cold water then shampoo or condition as normal.

Meet Shingai (pronounced Shing-eee) Shoniwa, vocalist and bassit for the UK indie rock band The Noisettes. Shingai, which means 'perservere' in the Southern African Shona language, was born in 1981 of English and Zimbabwean descent. Last night I was flipping the channels on my television and The Noisettes video "I'll Never Forget You" was on and I could not take my eyes off Shingai. The clothes, the music, her voice and of course the big hair....So cool. The band also consists of guitarist Dan Smith and drummer Jamie Morrison. To learn more about their music please visit the official website http://www.noisettes.net/home.

I'm sure most of you have heard already that comedian Chris Rock is coming out with a documentary titled "Good Hair". This film is supposed to expose what it the term "good hair" means to those in the African American community and our obsession with relaxing our hair. The film also exposes what other races think about our hair. Judging by the trailer below it looks like it will be hilarious take on a very serious issue in our community. Issues that have affect most, if not all, African American women at some point in their lives. Good luck to Chris Rock and those behind the scenes who helped him make a film like this possible.
