FINALLLLLLLLY!!!!! So sorry for the HUGE delay in uploading this video. At the time this tutorial was made, my computer was acting a fool and I had to have it serviced. I actually thought the files got deleted in the process, but after some digging I found them.

The title is pretty self explanatory. This is just a simple demo of how I do my weekly deep conditioning. Giovanni's Nutrafix is used in this video for review purposes only, it is not my staple DC. On a normal day I would use Bee Mines Deep Conditioner or Aubrey Organics GPB Balancing Conditioner. With a little coconut oil those conditioners are magical lol!
Enjoy :)
*In another video, yet to be edited, I'll be showing how I set my braids for braid outs!

I stumble upon this gorgeous curly head via Instagram and fell in love with her curls and humerous take on photo sharing.
I then found her YT link in her bio and immediately subscribed. Homegirl is beyond silly and I love that! Maya has type 3 curls and while I probably won't be following her hair styling methods, the content is so entertaining and well put together I'll be watching anyways lol!

The video is pretty self explanatory and I included some flat ironing tips as well. As it states in the video I recorded this tutorial on 11/24 and maintained the look up until 12/14 by simply sticking to a very simple night routine of pin curling. I recorded clips of that process as well and I hope to get it edited and uploaded asap.
Check out the video after the jump! Enjoy :)

What do you when the cramps finally let up and your home alone...bored!? Well, you go on YouTube and check up on your subscriptions...duh! Chescalocs is one of my absolute favorite youtubers. She's super creative, funny and her locs are gorgeous! I also love that most, if not all, of her hair tutorials can be adapted to loose natural hair or even long relaxed hair. Her lastest series of videos features her friend Busayo, who demonstrates the various ways one can wrap a turban. Some are simple and others are a bit more daring, but all looks are cute and very easy to recreate. Below is my fave look from the series...

This video was recorded on 11/11 right after I took my twists out. I used clear Eco Styler Gel, Kera Care's Leave In Conditioner and Kera Care's Butter Cream Everyday Moisturizer. Awesome combination!!! The video shows the entire process and I made sure to include lots of tips :)
Enjoy and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

I know I've been slacking BIG time, but I just had to share this video with y'all. It's not very entertaining...there's no music and she doesn't talk, but I still watched all the way til the end lol! Her hair is gorgeous and LONG!! This video definitely falls under the category of Hair Porn". It got me thinking though...how much is too much for me?
I don't ever plan on cutting my hair, other than trimming, so it's going to grow. I know have a long way to go before I reach her length, but I hate detangling the length I have now so I can't imagine what it will be like then. I'd probably cry every time wash day rolled around lol!
So I must ask, how long is TOO long for you?

I finally got around to snipping those pesky dry ends that I mentioned in my "Tension Blow Drying" video. This trim was wayyyy over due, but better late than never, right? So...early last Saturday (10/22) I gave a myself a trim by snipping off an 1/2 an inch all over. How did I do it you ask? Well, continue reading for a short video of me explaining the steps I took. I must warn you though, I was tired and not looking to cute AT ALL, so like a good neighbor please look past the bags under my eyes :) Enjoy!

Hey guys...long time no postings eh?? I've been a little busy, but I did finally find some time to record this tutorial for all you twist lovers out there. I'm already 2 weeks into this set and they're holding up quite nicely. After the jump you'll find some pics of them freshly done and a few I took yesterday. Enjoy the tutorial and keep an eye out for the bonus clips :)

Hey ladies! This is just a quick video detailing how I wrap my hair at night and revive in the morning. The products I used to set my wash and go (which is not shown) were Castor Oil, Ori Organics Leave In (not available) and clear Eco Styler gel. To fluff in the morning, all I need is a a few spritz of water, lots of fluffing and a little stretching with my blowdryer.
