Naturally Obsessed

Last week and after many days of not so good weather, I woke up with the sun beaming through my window.  I am so not a morning person and usually have a stank attitude if you wake me up too early, but that day was different.  I felt rested, energized and blessed that I was able to wake up and see the sun.  With my camera phone beside me, I had to snaps some pics...Enjoy ♥

A couple of days ago I changed my profile picture on Twitter to the one below. I've been recieving so many compliments as if it were a recent photo but its not. This picture was taken a year and some months ago. I love the picture today but I remember wanting my hair to be longer at that time. I hated the fact that my hair was growing upward instead of downward. I don't even think I wore this outside. Now that my hair is longer I wish that I had enjoyed my shorter length more. If I tried this same style on my hair today it wouldn't even look the same. When I try to pin my twist outs up now the hair just flops to the side, it doesn't give that nice profile like before. I'm not complaining that hair is growing its just a thought.....

P.S.  Whether her hair is fake or not, natural or not, I like the style.  Just because I'm natural does not mean that I can't possibly think that someone who's hair is not natural is ugly.  I'm 25 years old and I've only been natural for 2 years so how can I hate on what the next woman is doing when I used to do it too.  Sharing my natural hair journey through Fotki, YouTube and Naturally Obsessed is meant to inspire not to bash those who are not natural. 

So here's the message ...Judge yourself before you judge others.

I know it may seem like I've abandoned my blog but, I'm happy to report that posts will resume as normal later this week.  Life has become extremely hectic lately so blogging hasn't really been a top priority these past few weeks.  What would really make this whole blogging thing a little more enjoyable for me would be some feedback from my followers.  Let me know what you guys think about the blog, because its really here for you not me.  If there are topics you'd like me to discuss, feel free to send me a private message or leave a comment.  I love helping others with their hair journeys and giving advice when asked. So to all my followers your feedback is necessary and will be greatly appreciated.
