My Thoughts: I've been using witch hazel on my face since I started doing the OCM (oil cleansing method) last year. I use it as a toner after cleansing to grab any extra dirt or oil lingering on my face. In the beginning I would use a generic/no name witch hazel from Walmart and it worked fine for my skin...nothing special. When I ran out I decided to look for other formulations before repurchasing the same brand. I stumbled on the Thayers brand while stocking up on conditioner at LuckyVitamin.com and was immediately impressed by the ingredients and product claims. Long story short, I scooped up a bottle and have been using it ever since. The first thing I noticed about this brand was the scent, it actually smells really nice...like peaches lol! My generic brand smelled like rubbing alcohol so this was definitely an upgrade. Another plus about Thayers Witch Hazel is that it not only cleanses my skin, but it makes my skin feel soft and moisturized afterwards. On my lazy days when I have nowhere to go I often and don't feel like doing the OCM, I'll just squirt some Thayers on a cotton ball, swipe my face and be done. It's now a staple in my skincare regimen!

All I need to keep my skin looking good...for now. My skin needs sometimes changes like the wind so I'll keep you posted on any new additions :)
In the clear container I have a 50/50 mix of Sweet Almond Oil & Grapeseed Oil for the OCM of course. The Rose Hip Seed Oil I use after cleansing at night. I forgot to put Neutrogena's Visibly Even SPF 30 Moisturizer in the pic, I used it to moisturize in the daytime. It's a MUST that you use a moisturizer that has sun protection! Also not pictured is my Duac(am) and Differin(pm) gels, these are prescribed gels that I use to combat acne...my skin loves them. You can only get those with a prescription so talk to your dermatologist if interested.

  1. Do you think that would be useful for hair? I know people use witch hazel for their scalp to help scalp issues, so an infused witch hazel sounds even better!

  5. I LOVE Thayers Witch Hazel! I use the rose water with aloe one. I've been using witch hazel on my face since HS, so when I tried this one I was blown away. Since WH is such a simple product, but I like this one because it isn't drying (no alcohol), and just great. Oh, and I have used it on my scalp (to cleanse in between washes) with a q-tip. Works just fine (and I have dry/sensitive scalp).
