Great singer, actress, and dancer, but when I was relaxed Aaliyah was my hair idol.  Whether she wore it curly or bone straight, I wanted her hair.  I can't count how many days I was late to school trying to perfect the side swoop...lol.  She was a beautiful girl with talent to match and just when her career was about to sky rocket she, along with many others, passed away in a tragic accident. 

She is missed but never forgotten.  One of my favorite Aaliyah tracks was from her last album "Aaliyah" titled Those Were The Days.  Below is a video montage of her work set to that song.  Happy 31st Babygirl :-)
