I recently went to the salon to have my hair straightened and trimmed. NOW, I have heat damage :/ The hair around my temples is literally bone straight, and the front is a very loose wave. The back is still the same, except for one lonely little strand, dangling around smh. I will NEVER let anyone else straighten my hair again. Your hair is gorgeous as always though LOL
I love your hair. Anything you are doing to it I want to do to mines. My hair looks nothing like yours but, I have bought all the products you suggested and hopefully if will be there someday soon. Thanks for sharing with me. Arctictamm
AH, it must be fun to be able to see what your hair looks like in different "hair types" from straight to kinky as it's reverting back to its normal state :-).
I had straight hair while watching this video and I did what you did, but I used a spray bottle. I reacted like a giddy child. My grandmother saw me come in her room looking for a comb with straight hair, and she looked at me crazily when I returned the comb with curly hair. She thought I had washed my hair. Lol, thanks for sharing. I'll be doing this for now on. I had less shed hair in the shower by doing this.
I spend WAY too much time on your site :0), but it's a testament to how much I have enjoyed your product reviews, tutorials, tips, tricks, and your adorable niece! I have been natural off and on since childhood, only because I kept my hair in braids the majority of my life. I am going to stay natural this time; it has been about 2 years. While I have already achieved the coveted BSL, length is no longer the primary goal - it is now healthy hair. I have not worn my hair out for years (keeping it cornrowed under wigs lately), but I think I will try it at the end of this year. My hair is healthy, but I am interested in seeing what things like Rhassoul clay, Cupuacu/Brazil Nut/Mango butter and Argan oil will do to improve the health even further, as you and a few other naturals have inspired me that much more. I'm excited to take my hair to the next level! Keep up the great blogs - you make natural hair care look easy :0). His Blessings!
Good, video i recently had my heat damage experience via the blow-dryer!My kinks are somewhat looser especially the front. :( I am on a heat diet until further notice and will focuse on doing many curly styles instead. My hair didn't stay sleek long anyways and always seemed to me huge effort and was never happy with the final result.Lesson learnt. LOL
It is awesome when I find a new blog with great content and presentation. I am now following :). I hope you can check out my site: http://theproverbs.net and FOLLOW. Hope to hear from you soon. God bless

ReplyDeleteAlways love what you do to your hair. I'm curious about the hair vitamins you were talking about? Are you still taking them?
