My Thoughts: Absolutely Luvvvvs It!! When Anita asked if I would try out her deep condish I played it off cool like "Sure...I would love to", but inside I was saying "Hell Yesss Hunni!" They arrived over the weekend and I couldn't wait to get it in my hair. Now you guys already know I'm a fan of Rhassoul Clay. I've used it several times and I like to use my own little mixture, but I really wanted to see if Anita's recipe worked better or just as good.
my rhassoul recipe. I then placed the bowl on top of the pot and allowed the heat to melt the cubes down quicker. After it was all melted, I noticed that I may have put in too much water. So to thicken the mixture I added a teeny tiny drop of Bee Mine's Deep Conditioner and it took on a yogurt like consistency, which I prefer. While the mixture cooled down I hopped in the shower and shampooed with Elucence Moisture Benefits Shampoo....it's an old favorite of my that I found stashed in my cabinet. Once out of the shower I divided my hair in to four sections and began applying the clay to my hair. At first I thought that it wouldn't be enough to cover all my hair, but in the end my hair was evenly saturated. I covered with a plastic bag and left it in for the rest of the day and overnight. This is what it looked like in the morning before rinsing it out....
This morning with warm water I rinsed and rinsed until the water ran clear and no more clay was on my scalp. My hair felt awesome!! Soft, shiny, springy curls and kinks were the result. As soon as it was all rinsed away I could tell the difference in my Rhassoul mixture and Anita's. They both gave me soft, shiny and moisturized hair, but Anita's seemed to give my hair more strength. It almost reminded me of a Cassia treatment, but it's more moisturizing than Cassia. All in all I love it and can totally see why so many people love this stuff. You can read many of the positive reviews HERE! If you are looking to pamper your hair with, in my opinion, one of the best deep conditioners you must try Rhassoul Clay. If you like to mix your own goodies great or if you would like to have your clay already prepared Anita Grant's recipe is the way to go! Here's a few shots of my hair while rinsing...
LUVS IT!! Styling my hair was a breeze as well. I currently have in some braids for a braid out and I'll post pics of that look tomorrow :)
